How do you know it's extremist until you've read it?

  Exactly, a very good point. You could make websites that start out with: "Once upon a time there was a girl who always wore a red riding hood...grand ma was sick... wolf... 'We should just have a big genocide' screamed grandma as she pointed her right arm in the air."

    ah man! :) you just made HN an extremist propaganda website (but yes exactly what you write, plus, its quite an extremist measure to say you can't read something of other extremists)

  Yep, and what was extremist one year is not the next. It wasn't really that long ago McCarthyism made commmunism a thought crime. How can we seem to so easily forget that lesson?
