- skinnymuch 9y agoGreat essay. Bertrand Russel never ceases to amaze. For others, the essay is titled In Praise of Idleness, but is about using your idle (non-working time) for pursuits. Not to turn this into something else, but pursuing things during "idle" time is another reason why if reasonably possible, basic income could be great alongside more advancements like automation occurring.
