What do you use for ESC? Escape for vi and Meta for emacs have been my stumbling blocks in this model.
- williamstein 9y agoUse control+c instead of escape for vim.
- kps 9y agoNo, don't. They don't do the same thing.
- goerz 9y agoThe Blink app for mosh/ssh allows to remap caps-lock to esc on the SmartKeyboard. This made the iPad more than usable for (remote) programming in vim
- localhost 9y agoIn vim, I use CTRL+[. This should be mapped by default. Way better than the uncomfortable reach for the ESC key.
- ricardobeat 9y agoShelly has a customisable keyboard extension bar at the bottom. And I use nano :)
