Finally. It seemed to me completely obvious that CSS, images, etc. couldn't be forced into GPL. The PHP still seems a bit of a gray area, but at least now there's a semblance of consensus.
- gabrielroth 16y agoI don't think CSS and images were a sticking point. If my recollection holds, when Matt asked the Software Freedom Law Center for an opinion on Thesis, they said that the PHP would have to be GPL'd and the other elements wouldn't have to be.
