I think this is what you get when the participation trophy generation wants to rework the Nobel Prize. Some of his criticisms are valid - e.g. discrimination against female nominees (although perhaps not the number of same) - but for the most part it seems to be a thinly veiled complaint about the concept of prizes in general.
