why is this a tracking link.
- dltrn 9y agoso stripe can bucket the traffic that comes from this submission.
- jonny_eh 9y agoCan't they just look at the referrer?
- themacguffinman 9y agoIt lets them identify clicks specifically from the post link as opposed to links in the HN discussion thread.
- jonny_eh 9y agoCan't they see the path in the referrer URL? Wouldn't that differentiate which page on HN referred the visitor?
