Show HN: A Postman-like app for iOS
- rc318 9y agoOriginally an internal tool I built for testing my own projects from mobile, I recently decided to clean up and submit Getworks to the app store. It currently supports GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE methods, JSON, XML, text, or x-www-form-urlencoded bodies, and basic and token authentication, with support for additional auth and methods coming soon. I also added a feature that utilizes the Postman API to automatically import existing collections. Down the road I plan to make the Postman syncing seamless with changes on mobile automatically saving to Postman (currently changes made on Getworks are not saved to Postman). Looking for feedback, please feel free to e-mail me at the address in my bio for a promo code.
- ballenf 9y agoLooks very good. $3 is probably the right price point. Have you approached the Postman team? Could see them being interested in some kind of JV. I use the paid version of their tool all the time and am a big fan.
- rc318 9y agoThanks! I figured if Postman users are willing to pay $8/month for pro, they can probably justify a one-time $3 purchase as well. I haven't approached them yet, but I have considered it. I thought maybe I'd wait to gauge the response from users in regard to the Postman integration. I also love their paid offering!
