I recently finished making some mods to a PHP CMS to make sure it works fine with PHP7.1. The base of this code is 17 years old and is still used every day. The CSS/JS on the frontend rarely lasts more than a few years, usually changed to due to design trends (flat, responsive, mobile-first etc).
