As someone who is trying to learn modern web development, things like this make me feel overwhelmed. So many tools to learn and integrate! Why these tools over other ones? So many tools to choose from on every level of the stack!
What the hell is the "right way" to build a web app nowadays? That's what I want to learn. I've figured out how to put up a static page pretty well, but this is so different. Is this site what is best practice now? Or is it one of many choices?
- btbuildem 9y agoOP is a good example of what not to do. Overcomplicated, over-engineered, using tech for the sake of using it. Take what you like, leave the rest, that's probably the "right way" to build a web app.
