Not being a state, can Pierto Rico mint its own currency?
- ars 9y agoThey have to follow all Federal laws that deal with that. Not being a state doesn't change that. I assume you are asking out of curiosity, since that would not help anything on a practical level. There is no shortage of cash, the problem is getting it to people.
