Why weren't a series of speed bumps suitable?

- protomyth 9y agoYep, plowing and speed bumps don't mix. My workplace bought removable speed bumps. At the first snow, they maintenance folks unscrew the speed bumps from the roads / parking lot that are owned by the college. When the snow melts, they put back the speed bumps. Also, speed bumps with ice accumulations are just nasty.
- dsego 9y agoWhere I live they sometimes put a series of raised "vibrating" white strips before a crossing. In some places it's even only painted lines.
