One suggestion re scrolling. In about:config turn off smooth scrolling. Its for compatability, but most systems work better with it off. The scrolling is much snappier with it off.
- crispinb 9y agoThanks, I'll try that next time if it reoccurs. It's an accumulating problem of some sort, so memory-related presumably. Scrolling is smooth except on the very heaviest pages initially, and gets jankier over time.
