+1 quiet. You might have really good speakers. Always safer to make the videos louder, the user can always tune it down but can't tune it up beyond his/her speaker's capability.

Relative to whatever's evolved to be the youtube standard level? I generally keep my speakers tuned to that, suspect many do. If the relative volume of two videos is not consistent between viewers, maybe it's a matter of equalizer filtering?
