I've certainly logged on to places without vim. They probably have vi, though.
- masukomi 9y agounless you're on a vax machine or something similarly ancient anything that says vi is actually vim.
- BenjiWiebe 9y agoWell, it's usually a trinmed down copy of vim, right? I just do a quick alias vim=vi and carry on.
