Another thing, I’ve always wondered why some movies set in the future had such outlandish outfits and makeup. Think Hunger Games or Fifth element. Defeating or confusing facial or other biometric recognition would be a very good reason. But since it’s disguised as fashion it isn’t seen as sinister.
