- sandlerben 9y agoThis is my very good friend and I promise this is legit
- bllguo 9y agoThis is your first comment in 1.75 yrs and we have no reason to trust you; your testimonial is unconvincing, unfortunately.
- sandlerben 9y agoFair, I added some more identifying information to my profile so you know that I'm a real person.
- mikestew 9y agoI have a very good friend in Amazon recruiting that says this has to be Photoshopped because Amazon doesn’t do that. No, that’s not true. But I’ve got a ton of karma on HN, I post frequently, and there’s contact info in my profile. Who are people going to believe if I didn’t put a disclaimer here? Not that I don’t believe you, but I’m not inclined to believe some random person on the internet who has posted to this forum for the first time. IOW, many of us are waiting for something better than, “it’s true, really”.

- sounds 9y agoLet's not require a person to "out" themselves before we consider their information legit. Rather, let's reach out to our colleagues at Amazon and see if we can reach a recruiter. It shouldn't be hard to do.
- markwaldron 9y agoI'm not asking that the person out themselves. I meant more information about the sender - I could quickly code up an email template that looks similar to Amazons.
