Let's not forget that apple devices are akin to a prison due to the their strict vendor lock-in. Apple not directly selling your data to advertisers does not mean that they do not collect it or use it in other ways (including indirect selling).
- marricks 9y agoThe explicitly use differential privacy to allow collecting of anonymized large samples of data[1]. They're pretty serious about privacy. Also for having a walled garden of an app store and locked down devices, yep, that's a polarizing aspect to them, no doubt.
