If you are looking for tech events you can use https://techevents.co/ https://techevents.co/ aggregator. Right now it collects events from Meetup, Eventbrite, Lanyrd, Facebook, and shows in one place by providing easy search and ordering by attendees count to be able to see popular events.
Full disclosure: I'm the creator of TechEvents.co
- jamesmp98 9y ago:( still hardly anything near me
- MartyAghajanyan 9y agoIn which city are you?
- jamesmp98 9y agoColumbia, SC. It has to be about the smallest capital city I've ever seen. Most of the events here I already attend or are intended for middle / highschool students.
- xenopticon 9y agoThis looks great, thank you!
- skmurphy 9y agoThis is a good start. What other fields do you collect / plan to make searchable? FYI: I did a search for Bootstrapper Breakfasts and it didn't find any so I am not sure how much of the other sites you are scraping. Happy to chat if you plan to expand search capabilities.
- brokenbyclouds 9y agoIts so surprising to me how little is going on in the Las Vegas tech scene. I expected a lot more, particularly after Tony Hsieh's big push to create a robust tech environment at the downtown container park a few years back. Compare how many events and how many people expressing interest in said events in Vegas to Utah and the contrast is pretty stark.
