It sure doesn't help that I keep getting calls from "microsoft help center" because my pc is apparently broken. It's gotten so bad that I tend to reflexively hang up if an Indian voice is on the phone, despite knowing I am being unfair.
- protomyth 9y agoWait until you start getting the "we would like to send you and e-mail about X, but first can I verify some information" phone calls. I get about five per week. I too know that I am being massively unfair, but I have started just saying "Server Room", hearing them start to introduce themselves, saying "this is not a sales call line", and then hanging up. Totally unfair, but I'm to the point that I will probably just not pick up anything that I don't recognize on the caller id.
