- pcsanwald 9y agoI don't know about HN, but, I moved to NYC after college because I'm a jazz musician, and NYC is that jazz capital of the world. I've also always worked a day job as a software engineer. moved to SF last year for work. Both NYC and SF have a relatively high concentration of tech folks, which is probably a lot of the HN readership.
