According to the IRC chan, they're also going to release the lucene based search interface to Riak.
In that case, you'd have a fault-tolerant, easily scalable datastore that allows fulltext search (among other things).
Can't wait :)
- siculars 16y agoRiak search is coming. But in the meantime, there is elasticsearch, http://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch http://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch, which is also very nice.
- rb2k_ 16y agoyeah, really like it. Anybody tried using Riak post-commit hooks with elasticsearch?
- roder 16y agoAFAIK, Riak search is suppose to be drop-in replacement for Solr http://lucene.apache.org/solr/ http://lucene.apache.org/solr/. So anything that wraps that API would be easy to migrate to Riak Search later.
- jbellis 16y agosounds similar to http://github.com/tjake/Lucandra http://github.com/tjake/Lucandra
- rb2k_ 16y agoLucandra only uses Cassandra to store its inverted index, I think you still have to manually post your documents to it. Anybody used it before?
