Why is the colour of their drivers a problem? Are you suggesting there's something preventing people who aren't white from driving a cab?
- zimpenfish 9y agoGiven that it takes two plus years of extensive study to be able to pass The Knowledge (and many take longer) plus you need a certified vehicle which are around £40,000 minimum, yeah, there's a whole lot of spare time and access to money preventing disadvantaged people from driving a black cab in London.

- zimpenfish 9y agoHigh standards -which require a lot of cash outlay and a lot of spare time- by necessity exclude a large portion of the population, especially those who are already disadvantaged.
