- TheAdamAndChe 9y agoI didn't suppress your main idea, I just critiqued the way in which you conveyed it. Highly emotional posts on this site aren't good because of the voting system; comments become voted on not because of their merit or contribution to the conversation, but because the reader agrees or disagrees with them, which is fine for sites like Reddit, but we try to maintain a more thoughtful culture on this site. If we want to advance the conversation, the best way to do that is to focus on the logic that determined your opinion instead of the emotion.
