- gok 9y agoFor what it’s worth, if you don’t intend to publish on the App Store, you no longer need to buy a license. You can develop on your own devices with a (free) Apple ID.
- teddyh 9y ago…if you can stand recompiling and re-installing your apps every 7 days.
- lvillani 9y agoAre you sure that's true? I have an app on my phone that I last built and installed more than a month ago and it's working just fine.
- teddyh 9y agoIn this thread (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14384430 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14384430), multiple people claimed that 7 days was the limit.
- BoorishBears 9y agoI'd be surprised if the average developer's actively developed app sees so few changes that they have to reinstall every 7 days. Maybe once in a while while you work on other stuff, or take a break, but doing a compile after 7 days of no compiles doesn't seem like a huge deal
