One of the first things I noticed was that the knobs, sliders, and faceplate labels weren't worn out. They are all clear and even the demarcation lines were all clear. Given the ages involved, I'd expect those to be worn and faded to the point where they aren't visible. I suspect he has done a while lot of maintanence and restoration on the devices. Even his jumpers appeared to be in new condition.
