The guy's argument was that he only dropped it because it got so hot, and the fact that it got so hot is a fault in the design of the device, therefore he should get another one under warranty. The bulk of my post was mostly a rant about people that expect Apple to provide products that have that Apple "magic" and let them make modifications, and have Apple support them if they do.
