Craigslist is generating an enormous amount of wealth. Every time it facilitates a successful exchange between two users -- the sale of a used lawnmower, a room that gets rented out, a job posting that reaches the right person -- both sides of that exchange get something they want, and both sides get richer. It's hard to see, because there's no centralized accounting totaling up the cumulative value of all these transactions, but make no mistake: wealth is certainly being created.
