I really like the automatic audio remote. I am a very happy AirPods user, but I missed being able to adjust the volume easily. Now I can glance at the watch and use the digital crown to change the volume, very slick!
- rconti 9y agoI just upgraded my iPhone to iOS11 and my Series 2 Watch to WatchOS4 (which 2+ goddamned hours, but I digress), and noticed that Sonos allows me to use my watch to control volume! I'm not sure what the various parameters are, but I fired up a podcast on the Sonos controller app on my phone, walked partay through the house, raised my wrist to check the time, and I had control for the sonos right there -- turned the crown, sure enough, volume went up! It was really cool. Hopefully the UX is intuitive enough that it won't be popping up all the time when i don't want it.
