If you are looking to nuke everything, you can do it from the partition screens during the install. I'm assuming that you have not had too much experience with installing operating systems. Since you don't care about the data on the machine and want to nuke everything. This is a learning opportunity to try all the settings and see what they do. As that if you mess up and it's not what you want you can start over without fear.
Also if you just want to nuke everything there is dban (https://dban.org/ https://dban.org/) where you can just wipe everything.
