I spoke too soon. We were an hour late getting the food in tonight and sure enough it was back in the food. They must "round" every night. One down. At least this article helped with mental preparations. I wish there was something more preventative we could do. Probably just not have outdoor cats and not care what creeps around at night. Having chickens and active predators all the time would be a different story altogether.
