Wow, interesting question but I don't share the negative interpretation of some commenters. I think this could literally go any direction and its really subjective and hard to give you advice on. It's very possible you'll join them and become one of the group. I work for a very small company and the SRE team I am on is quite tight, as they were before I joined, but our interviewing process included enough interaction with the team that we all knew we'd hit it off before they made me an offer.
