As someone who recently quit a new job soon after starting (my choice) you need to make sure your current employees are not dicks or they are managed. There are people out there whose dickness far exceeds their background and capabilities. Pair them with an equally bad manager who doesn't see the big picture and you have a couple of low end c players making thing shitty enough that no one will want to enter the company. It's sad because the company was a very exciting place to work. It is like seeing someone who put a four cylinder in a Ferrari.
