We're publishing crazy detailed personal development stuff behind the paywall. Definitely worthwhile. But if that's not your thing, then it's much less of a guarantee right in this moment. In three years though... if they execute on a Netflix for content model... that $5 could be crazy compelling. There is a lot of great writing that would be unlocked by just having a reader who already paid rather than trying to jump through content marketing, SEO and virality hoops.
