I agree and I think most of the comments here cover why this should mostly be OK. Another neat feature in iOS 11 is the ability to disable Touch ID quickly, but touching the lock button five times. I assume this works for Face ID as well – this would help those who have immediate concerns that they would be coerced into using biometric data to unlock their device. edit: updated to five touches
