In other words Autopilot + human is better than a human. Then why is the furore about Tesla? Because they named it autopilot and call it safer than a human. To say autopilot is safer than a human seems to imply that autopilot alone reply be better than a human driver. Maybe you're smart enough to see this, but as is evident, many believe that autopilot alone is better than a human driver.
