TouchID is great, but if I've been sweating or have some moisture on my hands for another reason (say I'm cooking and want to check the recipe) it fails horribly.
- chris_7 9y agoAt one point (iOS 10?) iOS's quickness in falling back to the passcode prompt regressed greatly. In the cooking use case you ought to be able to say "hey Siri, keep my phone unlocked", but she'd probably just search for that on Bing.
- adiabatty 9y agoI usually say "hey Siri, open auto-lock settings" as I take my iPad into the kitchen.
