This is a condescending attitude. People vote against their interest all the time. The HN crowd is generally in the top 10% of income and they vote for Democrats who will raise their taxes.
- ascagnel_ 9y agoIf you look at it reductively, yes. The other way you can look at it is that you're paying more in taxes, and in doing so funding the improvement of externalities.
