Flying United is a choice. In fact, some companies do suffer lasting harm from bad behavior (Volkswagen comes to mind). Being an Equifax product is not a choice, just a symptom of being a pawn in today's mass-surveillance world where (we are told) privacy and security are illusions.
- dagw 9y agosome companies do suffer lasting harm from bad behavior (Volkswagen comes to mind). Volkswagen is basically back to it's pre-dieselgate sales levels. Admittedly its stock price is still quite a bit below it's pre-dieselgate high, largely due to the still unknown factors surrounding possible future fines.
