In Finland it's the same thing if not even further already. Using cash is considered to be really weird these days. Right now I live in China and it's really interesting what happened here. Everything was done with cash 5 years ago and you couldn't use international cards anywhere, but now everything is paid with (apps) alipay/wechat. Even beggars use them.
