I've noticed a shift over the last few years here(in Japan), a lot more cards being used. Hell I haven't used cash in over 3 months.
- oculusthrift 9y agoCredit card or IC cards? (IC cards are refillable cards for the subway which many retailers accept but aren't linked to any identity)
- marak830 9y agoBoth, and smartphone based payment (edi mostly). Also my subway card is linked to my ID (I case I lose or break it).
