All other tech giants today make money from advertisement and /or “big” data, which are inherently anti-privacy. This is why Microsoft has done 180° on privacy and has filled their first part apps with ads.
- bobsil1 9y agoMS was always in bed with the feds, e.g. Skype and crypto backdoors.
- LeoNatan25 9y agoHistorically, Microsoft has made a lot of money from government institutions being locked-in to their software, so that makes perfect sense.
