If you want to delete Facebook from your phone but your friends use Facebook Events, there is a stand alone Events app. That being said, I wish my friends didn't use Facebook for events.

- eduren 9y agoI wish you could use that, the Pages app, and the Groups app with a deactivated Facebook profile (I could still connect in meaningful ways). I understand why Facebook has no reason to make it that way, but it is making me vote with my feet.
- milcron 9y agoBetter yet, use the https://mbasic.facebook.com https://mbasic.facebook.com website designed for feature phones. It doesn't even require javascript!
