Caution: this is presented as a validated theory, but there are many competing explanations for the drop in crime in the 90s.
- mfoy_ 9y agoValid or not, it was a Nirvana fallacy-- just like the idea that there was no point in banning the subreddit because they would move platforms. Just because you can't achieve an idealized scenario doesn't mean you should not try for some improvement.
