I am going to, just waiting for the DA to press charges (or not). If he pleads guilty, the civil case is much cheaper for me. The statute of limitations for fraud like this is six years.
- rbobby 9y agoI would check with a lawyer. A lot of civil cases have a much shorter window (as low as 3 years in some cases). And determining the start date of the window can be tricky... it could (not say it is, just that it is possible) be as early as your first paycheck ("you should have noticed something was off then and acted"). .
