Those experts have been able to write their own tickets for decades so I'm not surprised it's hard to find anyone. First pro tech job was at a small (8000 customer) ISP back in the 90s and our sysadmin was an AS/400 master. He'd show up once or twice a month, mostly just to check on things. I think he made more from that company than the owner ever did.
