I'm not sure it's "blinding" them (after all, the links are shared TO those platforms), but standardizing the sharing mechanism would give Google the future option to track shares (if they aren't already doing it). Knowing what's being shared where, in near realtime, is HUGELY valuable information.

Sharing is one thing but these third party sharing buttons all over the place where really tracking beacons for your browsing, even if you don't share anything.

  Yeah to be fair I'll use this feature before I unblock the share buttons in my ad blocker.
