The most obvious difference is probably in the 0s. For example, I would never use Droid Sans Mono (#8) because it lacks a clear distinction between O and 0.

- amag 9y agoWith the abundance of fonts available today, I can't see any reason for the existence of a programming font that doesn't properly differentiate between 0/O and 1/l/I/|.
