What made you want to pivot from Xamarin? Did you find there is a lack of opportunities, or do you dislike the technology? As someone who is looking into moving to Xamarin development I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
- milofeynman 9y agoXamarin Forms is a dead end in my opinion. I enjoyed writing non-Forms with a shared MVVM framework, but my job was in Forms. I also find mobile development to be too cornered. I was doing both platforms by myself with no room to grow as a developer. I spent too much time in Forms chasing down Forms bugs and trying to figure out why the latest version of Forms broke something new. So a bit of burnout as well. Hope that helps.
