I respect how the author has articulated the problem, but the solution I was hoping he would articulate equally as well never came, other than a few simple platitudes in the last paragraph. Reminds me of the Jack Nicholson line in the movie "As Good as it Gets" - "I'm drowning here, and you're describing the water!"
