- rjeli 9y agoi doubt it. HN is becoming too political. only reason to stick around is for the rare historical tidbits and academics weighing in
- geezerjay 9y ago> HN is becoming too political. This. Since the last US presidential election, the signal-to-noise ratio on HN has slowly but steadily being diluted with a ever increasing constant stream of political propaganda posted by the virtue-signaling crowd. Some of it manages to be filtered out of HN's main page, but sometimes browsing /newest is a sure way to flair up the good ol'carpal tunnel flagging political propaganda submissions.
- fwdpropaganda 9y agoYou think? To me it reads like a parody of 4chan. Come to think of it, 4chan is a pretty good at being a parody of itself. It reads to me just like a normal 4chan thread.
